HOLMES PARTY OF FOUR

We are the Holmes Party of Four...waiting impatiently to be the Holmes Party of five!! We live in west Texas and have two wonderful children. Taylor (almost 16) and our newest edition Meisi (almost 4) adopted from China on September 11, 2005. We are currently waiting for our 2nd daughter from China! A long wait it will be, but certainly worth waiting for!!

Guess what we did this weekend!! We all (excluding Taylor-we are too big for that stuff now) went to Disney's Nemo On Ice! It was great and Meisi just couldn't get enough. We had tickets on the 5th row and the view was perfect. Meisi thinks we are going back for all the performances! This just makes me want to get back to Disney World even faster! Here are a few pictures of Miss Meisi-the new P.R. rep for Nemo!!

This is the last game of the season. I can't believe it is already over. The Midland High Dawgs placed second in district. Lost the game for first by 1 point in the 9th inning! Taylor (21) plays first base.

OUR NEW FAMILY EDITION

As most of you know, we lost our sweet Tanner about a month age to aspirated pheumonia. He was the absolute best dog!! He and Cassie were so close and had been together for many years. She has been lonely. Soooo...short story...we got her a friend. A friend from work called me last to tell me there was a beagle fror FREE in the paper. I called, no answer, called all morning, busy, then called after school and no answer. Later in the evening she returned the call and still had the puppy. She had been dumped out in a field south of town. She took her to vet and got her new shots, spade, and did blood work---all good. At first she wanted nothing to do with any of us. Forward 4 hours and she is comin around! Her she is......
